Following the death of a male from a suspected electrocution and with evidence of cannabis cultivation, I was instructed to attend a property and undertake an inspection of the electrical installation in order to compile a report on the condition of the electrical installation and to determine the likelihood of such an electrocution occurring.

My report concluded that the evidence obtained identified that the condition of the electrical installation was immediately dangerous and a mechanism by which a fatal electric shock could be received did exist within the installation relating to the cannabis cultivation.
